Hi, I'm Dr. David—
I'm not just a doctor of education.
I'm a dad who was drowning.
I have a doctorate in Special Education and 30 years of classroom experience. But when I became a father to six neurodivergent, trauma-impacted children, my degrees didn't stop the meltdowns. I tried sticker charts, time-outs, and "consequences." They only made things worse.
And I realized—the same things failing at my kitchen table were failing in classrooms everywhere.
I had to stop trying to fix my kids and start rewiring my response. That shift didn't just save my family—it transformed how I understood the classroom
Now, I help parents find peace at home, teachers reclaim their classrooms, and school leaders build cultures where neurodivergent students actually thrive—all using the same nervous-system-first framework.
Whether it's a living room or a learning environment, connection always comes before correction.
